The summer holiday is for me the perfect time to enjoy and explore new countries. So, this summer I went to one of my bucket list destinations, Jamaica! Jamaica is maybe not the first holiday destination that you will think of, but I can tell you that Jamaica is highly recommended! The positive vibes, living in the moment, accepting setbacks and moving on with joy are typical characteristics of the Jamaican culture. I also love Jamaican reggae music, I can eat Jerk chicken all day and the beaches are breathtaking. To explore this vibrant country, I stayed at the luxury 5-star Beaches resort in Negril. Of course, there are many resorts in Jamaica, but let me give you 5 reasons why my stay at Beaches Negril was unforgettable and why you should experience it too!

I really love this dining concept as you have the feeling that you are out for dinner each night. On top of that, you can finish off the evening with a delicious frozen yogurt at Yoyo’s! (Well, you can get it anytime you want actually ;-)) Can you guess how many Yoyo’s I have had during my stay?
If you don’t know in what kind of food mood you are, you can also enjoy the large buffet with many food options at restaurant the Mill. The Mill serves delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday. We were a huge fan of the breakfast in the morning; pancakes, toast, scrambles eggs, bacon, fruit and yoghurt were our must eats. Breakfast for queens you can say 
3. BEACHES NEGRIL HAS BEAUTFUL NEW LARGE ROOMS & SUITS
The rooms & suites of Beaches are so beautiful and peaceful. The rooms are really designed to relax. We stayed at the Grand Luxe Family Room. This room connect to a second room and offer tranquility for large families or is perfect when you sleep with a friend and want some privacy. One bedroom features a king-size bed and a single pullout sofa bed, while the other features two double beds. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom and closet. We loved the connected room and 2 bathrooms as we love to change outfits and we need both a lot of time to dress up in the bathroom. Besides that each room includes a refrigerator stocked with bottled water, juice, soda, Robert Mondavi Twin Oaks varietal wines and local beer, all included again 
4. BEACHES NEGRIL IS LOCATED ON THE WIDEST STRETCH OF NEGRIL’S FAMOUS & BEAUTIFUL 7-MILE BEACH
I have seen a lot of beaches and shorelines, but the beach at Beaches Negril is really one of the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. This beach is incredibly beautiful, it is a pearly white beach with clear blue water and palm trees along the 7-mile coastline. If you dream of paradise, you should go and meet paradise here at Negril.
Around sunset the beach gets even more incredible as the sunset is breathtaking. The sky turns into a color palette of orange, pink and purple. Perfect for amazing holiday pictures and it is also a super romantic view to enjoy together with your lover or family. As the sunset is so beautiful Beaches offers a sunset photo service and you can request a private romantic sunset dinner on the beach.
5. BEACHES NEGRIL IS A NON-STOP FUN FAMILY RESORT WITH ALL-INCLUSIVE WATERSPORTS & WATERPARK
As the water is so blue and clear, you just want to enjoy it to the fullest. At Beaches resorts this is no problem as they are a lot of watersports included like aqua cycling, paddle boarding, kayaking and much more! We decided to hit the water with this fun aqua cycle. I had never seen this kind of aqua cycle before, but I loved to cycle in the water with it. I can tell you that the shoreline is extremely pretty from the ocean.
Next to the beach activities you can also enjoy the waterpark at the resort. Beaches has the biggest waterparks in the Caribbean. The Pirates Island Waterpark at Beaches Negril is a fantasy world filled with gigantic waterslides, kid-friendly pools, lazy river and much more! This waterpark is not only for children, I have enjoyed the waterslide and lazy river too ;-). For kids there are many more options to enjoy on the resort, like meeting the Sesame Street characters, Xbox play lounge and arcade games. Well actually these options can be used by any age ;-).
Well as you can read, I loved my holiday at Beaches resorts and Jamaica very much!
