Last week I visited Marrakech for the second time. The first time I fell in love with this city. It is such a magical place. Plus I needed a place to escape the cold Netherlands. So I thought why not visit the beautiful and sunny Marrakech again?
This time I stayed at the amazing Kenzi Menara Palace in Marrakech. Kenzi Menara Palace is a beautiful place to stay. It is located nearby the breathtaking Atlas mountains and it is just 10 minutes away from the famous Jamaa El Fna Square.
So the location is perfect, but the view is even more perfect! Look at this!!! From our room, we could enjoy the splendid Atlas mountains, the tropical and botanical gardening and the huge swimming pool. The 5 star all inclusive hotel is surrounded by 5 hectares of these pretty gardens.
The style of the hotel is inspired by the Arabo-Andalusia tradition. Our room also had the Thousand and One Night feel. It was big, comfortable and had an Arabic interior. We had a beautiful suite with all the things we needed as a Flat screen TV, Wifi, Safe, Mini Bar, Bathroom with shower and even a relaxing bad. As it was not that sunny I could stay in my room all day 
Even the balcony was pretty. It was also designed in the Arab-Andalusia style and it had palm trees. I am so in love with the colours of Marrakech. Look at the colour of Kenzi Menara Palace! So beautiful. I wish my house was painted in this colour.
After checking in the first day. It was time to cool down in the big swimming pool and catch some sun! Winter in Marrakech means, 23 degrees and sunny. After all these rainy days in the Netherlands, I could use some Vitamine D. After swimming you could relax at the beds and order some cocktails, snacks or anything you would like. The hotel is all-inclusive. You can eat what you want and whenever you want! Love it!
Couldn’t get enough of this view with daylight it was already breathtaking. But look at this view now. We watched the whole sunset. Have you ever seen a view like this? I think this is the only place where it is hot an sunny and you can see snow at the very same time. What a special experience.
Time to shine! The second day we started the day early with breakfast in bed. The hotel offers you the option to have breakfast in bed. I am a big fan of breakfast in bed. You can slowly wake up and enjoy the delicious breakfast at the same time.
Just fell in love with the huge swimming pool and the pretty gardens. So we started the day with a morning dive and walk after breakfast.
After enjoying the hotel for 1,5 days we were ready to explore the city. Kenzi Menara Palace provides a shuttle service from the hotel to famous Jamaa El Fna Square. So we started at the square and went to the Medina to do some shopping.
After shopping, we had a great lunch at Nomad. It is one of the nicest restaurants in the Medina. The food is healthy and good! It has the typical Morracan style and the terras looks out over the old Medina. Super cool!
Best thing to do after a long day in the Medina is relaxing in the Spa. The hotel has a big Spa with different saunas, inside swimming pool and offers different massages. We took a massage the last day. The massage was really good and made me feel super relaxed. After the massage, we went into the sauna and enjoyed the inside swimming pool.
The Sauna/Hammam was made of all marble stones.
Back at my favourite spot again. Yes… you caught me, daydreaming and staring at the beautiful view from our suite. If you have plans to visit Marrakech, I can definitely recommend Kenzi Menara Palace as the place to stay on your Marrakech trip. It is located very well. You are 10 minutes away from all the hotspots. At the same time, you can relax at the hotel at the swimming-pool, spa and enjoy the beautiful nature and view. Plus! You have an all-inclusive stay so you don’t have to worry about where to have lunch or to have dinner. You just can enjoy and you will have everything you need in a jiffy.
