This week I visited a city that was for years on my travelbucketlist. The beautiful and magical place Marrakech.
I stayed at the beautiful La Sultana signature 5* hotel located in the historical Medina. Only 10 minutes walk to the famous Jemaa El Fna square and surrounded by typical Moroccan streetmarkets and colored walls.
At first sight you think you are just in a local street in Marrakech, but when you walk pass this beautiful wall you will find the entrance of La Sultana Signature hotel. It is a hidden pearl in the old town of Marrakesh. From the outside it looks like you are walking into a castle and when you are inside you immediately feel that you will be a princess living in a Moroccan palace. The staff is so nice and makes sure that you feel 100% comfortable and that you will get everything that you need.
Okay, Lets start with some food. I am such a food-lover and this breakfast was amazing! The hotel has a buffet where you can choose between bread, all different fruits, sweets & cakes, yoghurt and hot meals. They even have a seperate menu where you can order other Moroccan breakfast meals. Ofcourse I couldn’t decide what I wanted so I tasted everything. I also tried the real Moroccan mint tea, totally love it!
And the best part is you can have breakfast outside with this magical view! In the morning it was already 20 degrees so I was enjoying my breakfast at the roofterrace of the hotel. Couldn’t start the day better.
When you go down from the rooftop after breakfast, there is a gorgeous swimmingpool waiting for you! Look at this and tell me you dont want to dive in?!
With 27 degrees I could’nt resist this fresh water and I enjoyed a afternoon at the swimmingpool where also the staff makes sure you have the best time. You can order food at the pool and the towels and La Sultana hat are already there waiting for you to use them.
Yup, I get tired after eating too much good food and swimming as a mermaid. Time to relax in front of my little palace.
The private terrace with little swimmingpool. This was my view from my room. I was sleeping in the Jaguar room which was very nice! A kingsize bed, living area and a really big bathroom, with even a jacuzzi and golden sinks!
